Lead Pastor | Calvary Chapel of Perry

In the summer of 1994, while working for my uncle's Painting Company, he hired a new guy who was a Christian and who played drums on the worship team for Calvary Chapel of the Finger Lakes. He patiently and loving the shared Christ with me day after day until one day, at the end of the summer, I receive Jesus as my personal Lord and Savior. I almost immediately sensed a call to serve the Lord. Somehow in 1996 I met Jeff Guesno, and a handful of us began to pray and seek the Lord and ask Him for a vision to reach people for Christ in Perry NY and the surrounding area. That translated to a prayer meeting and then a coffee shop to reach out to the youth in the town of Perry. The coffee shop included prayer meetings and bible studies. Eventually we close the coffee shop and started the church in 2003. During the coffee shop days I was blessed to serve with Leigha Perry, one of the most amazing people I know. Loving, kind, sensitive and beautiful, but most of all she loved Jesus. We were married in 2001 and now have six amazing children together. We are allowing God to write our story (Ephesians 2:10). Our heart and vision for the church is to have well-loved and fed (Revelation 3:8) children of God.
